FREE ‘HEALTHY FRIENDS’
training and resources for childcare settings
The project aims to improve attitude, awareness and knowledge about living a healthier lifestyle. Training is delivered to Childcare Workers and give them the tools and resources to train some of the older children in their setting to deliver activities around healthy eating and physical activity to the younger children in the setting. As part of this particular project, we are also introducing activities around improving awareness about smoking and alcohol consumption.
Every childcare setting that attends a workshop is given a free activity resource pack, which contains 27 activity resource cards.
