Ein Hawliau – Cymru/Our Rights – Wales
The Welsh Government in partnership with pupils from Pentrehafod School, Swansea has developed a new bilingual mobile app promoting children’s rights.
The free app, titled Ein Hawliau – Cymru/Our Rights – Wales, will be available on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch from April 2013, with a view to develop the app for other formats.
The mobile app will be one of a kind as it will provide information on the articles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) but also details and locations of national support services. Children, parents and advocates will find the app of benefit.
The Football Association of Wales kindly agreed to promote the app during their recent preparations for the World Cup qualifying games against Scotland and Croatia.

Mae Llywodraeth Cymru, mewn partneriaeth â disgyblion o Ysgol Pentrehafod, Abertawe, wedi datblygu ap dwyieithog newydd sy’n hyrwyddo hawliau plant.
Bydd yr ap sydd am ddim, Ein Hawliau – Cymru/Our Rights – Wales, ar gael ar iPad, iPhone ac iPod touch o fis Ebrill 2013, gyda’r bwriad o’i ddatblygu ar gyfer fformatau eraill.
Bydd yr ap yn unigryw gan ei fod yn rhoi gwybodaeth am erthyglau Confensiwn y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Hawliau’r Plentyn (CCUHP), ynghyd â manylion a lleoliadau gwasanaethau cymorth cenedlaethol. Bydd yr ap o fudd i blant, rhieni ac eiriolwyr.
Roedd Cymdeithas Bêl-droed Cymru yn ddigon caredig i hyrwyddo’r ap yn ystod y paratoadau diweddar ar gyfer gemau rhagbrofol Cwpan y Byd yn erbyn yr Alban a Croatia.
